PESHAWAR: The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has decided to recruit teachers on emergency basis in 22 districts of the province. The crucial decision taken to address the shortage of teachers in government schools across the province.
The Education Department has issued an official letter to the District Education Officers of 22 districts of the province for the recruitment of teachers.
According to the letter issued, the recruitment process for new posts is being started in Bajaur, Bannu, Battagram, Buner, Dera Ismail Khan, Upper Dir, Hangu, Khyber, Lower Kohistan, Kurram, Lakki Marwat, Mohmand, Mardan, North Waziristan, Orakzai, Shangla, South Waziristan, Swabi, Swat, Tank and Torghar.
The recruitment of teachers in 22 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be done with the financial support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The Department of Education has issued instructions to all DEOS to fill the shortage of teachers in schools by May 21, 2025, so that there is no disruption in the educational process of students.
