PESHAWAR: A high-level meeting chaired by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa KP Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah took place in Peshawar on Thursday to discuss the launch of the new electronic procurement system, E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS). Officials from the K-P Public Procurement Regulatory Authority briefed the Chief Secretary on the system, which aims to automate procurement processes for key departments, including C&W, Irrigation, Local Government, and Public Health Engineering.
The Chief Secretary directed that E-PADS be fully operational within a week and launched in the first week of March. The system, linked with national institutions like NADRA and FBR, is designed to enhance transparency in public procurement and governance. This initiative aligns with Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur’s vision for transparent utilization of public resources.
