PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Advisor Ihtesham Ali visited District Headquarter Hospital, Daggar, Buner and inspected various departments of the hospital, including emergency, while also enquiring about the health of the injured persons.
The Health Advisor visited patients and encouraged their families. Regional Director General of Health, Malakand, briefed him about the casualties caused by the cloudburst in Buner. Three mobile hospitals, ambulances, medical staff, and a convoy equipped with emergency medicines are visiting the Buner health centres. Expert medical staff, along with the Health Advisor, also examined the patients
Health Advisor Ehtesham Ali said that the people of Buner are not alone in this hour of grief, and every facility would be provided to the victims who have lost nears and dears in this tragedy. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has dedicated all the resources of the province to the rehabilitation of the victims.
The entire staff of the health department is at the disposal of the Regional Director Malakand, and we hope that there will be no shortage of medicines, staff and resources. He said that the Malakand and Hazara divisions are the most affected by the cloud burst.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Fakhar Jahan personally supervised the rescue and relief operation in connection with the flood disaster in Buner and reviewed the ongoing relief activities at various affected places.
Following the instruction of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, the provincial minister was present at the scene to provide relief to the flood-ravaged places and affected people and supervised the arrangements for all activities.
He was also in constant contact with the Emergency Control Room and kept giving instructions to the relevant institutions on every aspect to carry out the activities diligently.
