PESHAWAR : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Food Minister Zahir Shah Toro launched a scathing attack on PML-N leader Uzma Bukhari following her recent press conference, accusing her party of hypocrisy, corruption, and nepotism.
Toro claimed that Bukhari was “doing makeup on the corruption-ridden face of PML-N,” dismissing her criticism of KP’s governance.
The minister alleged that Punjab’s Rescue 1122 had been turned into a “graveyard for political recruitments” and accused the PML-N of running Punjab as its “fiefdom” rather than a merit-based system.
“Those whose own institutions are bastions of corruption should not lecture KP on merit,” Toro said. He further described the Punjab government as a “poisonous waste of corruption” and accused Bukhari of “spreading poison” by defending it.
Toro asserted that KP has the most transparent and merit-based system in Pakistan, calling his government an “example of public service.”
“PML-N’s politics is only about lies, deceit, and taking institutions hostage,” he added, rejecting any comparison between the two provinces.
