KP police chief bans interviews of suspected criminals in custody

 

PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Zulfiqar Hameed, while talking to Pakhtun Digital, said that the KP police infrastructure is being strengthened in the southern districts. Repair work on weak buildings has also been started so that if the police are being targeted due to weak infrastructure, it can be stopped.

He added that new buildings will be constructed for all police stations and police lines of Bannu and DI Khan in the annual development plans.

Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed added that special police teams are being formed in the southern districts.

He added that all the resources available to the police are being used effectively, while modern weapons, including SMGs, would also be purchased. Bulletproof and APC vehicles are being provided where there are security problems.
