PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements and tourist services during his visit to the popular Naraan Valley on Saturday.
During the visit, IGP Hameed inspected the newly established Tourist Facilitation and Information Center, aimed at assisting visitors. District Police Officer (DPO) Mansehra, Shafiullah Gandapur, briefed the IGP on the center’s services.
The IGP noted that the center is manned by trained police personnel, including female officers, who are responsible for providing guidance, essential facilities, and ensuring the safety of tourists. He added that a permanent medical camp, set up by the district health department, is also operational at the site to offer emergency medical assistance.
IGP Hameed appreciated the efforts of the police and healthcare teams and instructed them to continue ensuring smooth traffic management, improved security, and quality services for tourists.
Reaffirming the force’s commitment to a people-friendly approach, he pledged continued efforts to provide a secure and welcoming environment at all tourist destinations across the province.
