PESHAWAR: Gulbahar Police on Sunday arrested well-known TikToker Alisha 007 as part of an ongoing crackdown against the dissemination of indecent and immoral content on social media platforms, officials said.
According to a statement issued by Peshawar Police, Alisha 007 was taken into custody for allegedly uploading and promoting pornographic and immoral material online. A case has been registered against her at Gulbahar Police Station under relevant sections of the law.
The arrest comes amid a broader campaign launched by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police aimed at curbing the spread of obscene and unethical content on digital platforms. Authorities have warned that strict and indiscriminate action will continue against individuals found violating social media ethics and public decency standards.
Police officials stated that such content not only violates social norms but also negatively impacts the moral values of society, particularly among the youth.
The crackdown is part of a province-wide effort to ensure responsible use of digital platforms and to protect the public from harmful content, police added.
