KP to start ETEA test for teaching posts tomorrow

PESHAWAR: The first phase of test for recruitment of teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will start tomorrow. Over 80,000 candidates will take the written exam for 16,454 posts. The test will be conducted by Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).

The education department said this phase includes 109 CT-IT posts (BPS-12), 494 AT posts (BPS-15), and 29 Qari/Qaria posts (BPS-12). The exams will take place on April 12 and 13 at various centers.

ETEA officials confirmed that all exam arrangements are complete. Authorities have imposed Section 144 to maintain law and order. Unauthorised persons will not be allowed near the centers.

Police have issued a security plan. Security personnel will guard all centers. Female staff, technical equipment, and checking points will support strict monitoring.

ETEA Executive Director Adil Saeed Safi advised candidates to avoid fraudsters. He urged them to take the exam with honesty and hard work.

He warned against using unfair means. Law enforcement agencies are on high alert.

Safi said candidates must also help ensure transparency and uphold merit.
