KP to transfer employees stationed for over two years

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to transfer its employees who have been posted in the same position for more than two years.

The Chief Secretary has instructed all administrative secretaries to prepare lists of employees who have been in the same position for more than two years and issue transfer orders for them.

A committee, headed by the Secretary of Administrative Affairs, has been formed to oversee the transfers of officers in grade 17 and above, ensuring the process is carried out smoothly.

After the Chief Secretary’s orders, unrest has spread among employees who have been in important positions for over two years, and they have started scrambling to avoid transfers.

Employees from departments like P&D, Local Government, Finance, Irrigation, and C&W have expressed dissatisfaction with these orders.

According to sources, many employees in key positions in the Planning and Development and C&W departments have been in their posts for up to 12 years, and their transfers are expected soon.
