SWABI: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), in collaboration with the Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, organized a vibrant three-day evolution competition and exhibition, showcasing the creative talents of students from across the province. The event, held at the GIK Institute in Swabi, attracted over 250 male and female participants, highlighting the region’s rich cultural and artistic potential.

According to Muhammad Saad, spokesperson for the Tourism Authority, the exhibition featured a diverse range of categories, including fashion shows, art displays, theater dramas, mixed media, digital art, still life painting, and modern fashion designing. Students from seven different universities participated, bringing a unique blend of creativity and innovation to the event.

The Naqsh Art Society of GIK Institute played a pivotal role in organizing the fashion and art show, which aimed to “rewrite the story” of cultural expression through contemporary and traditional mediums. The event not only provided a platform for young artists and designers to showcase their talents but also promoted cultural exchange and tourism in the region.

The collaboration between the KPCTA and GIK Institute underscores the government’s commitment to fostering creativity, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting tourism as a key driver of economic growth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The successful execution of the event has set a precedent for future initiatives aimed at empowering youth and celebrating the province’s artistic and cultural diversity.
