Opposition Leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Ibadullah, has said that when the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government was formed in 2013, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had a debt of only Rs 150 billion, which has now increased to Rs 850 billion.
Addressing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday, Opposition Leader Ibadullah addressed the Chief Minister and said that regarding the dismissal of the former Prime Minister, you said that he was removed under a regime change conspiracy, but the fact is that he was the only Prime Minister who was removed constitutionally.
He further said, “You came after meeting the founder PTI on the night of Eid, but why didn’t you discuss the budget?” Khan Sahib’s sister Aleema Bibi tweeted that the budget should not be passed.
The opposition leader also claimed that he and his family were subjected to political revenge. He said that during the PTI government, his nephew was picked up by the FIA on the basis of just one speech, and hashish was placed in Rana Sanaullah’s car during Khan Sahib’s government.
He raised the question that when the PTI was in power in the center, Punjab, and other provinces, why was the NFC award not discussed? And what practical steps were taken for the people there after the merger of FATA?
He said that there should be no contradiction between words and deeds, you have yourself distrusted your voters and supporters.
