LAKKI MARWAT: The district’s first dengue case of the year has been confirmed in Sher Khan Kalay, Kot Kashmir, prompting immediate response from health authorities.
After identifying the infected patient, health teams quickly quarantined the individual at home. The department launched mosquito spraying in the area and initiated an awareness campaign to educate residents about dengue prevention.
As part of containment efforts, a special anti-larvae operation was conducted to eliminate breeding sites. Health officials have urged citizens to maintain cleanliness and take preventive measures to curb further spread of the virus.
