MANSEHRA: A devastating tragedy struck the Thakra area of Mansehra Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP when a lineman lost his life in a horrifying accident caused by a fire on an electricity pole. The victim, Abdul Quddus, was carrying out repair work when the unthinkable happened—a sudden burst of flames engulfed the pole, leading to a fatal electric shock and severe burns that claimed his life.

Despite the desperate efforts of his colleague to save him, Abdul Quddus succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The incident has sparked outrage and raised serious questions about the gross negligence that led to this avoidable disaster. The colleague, visibly shaken and angered, demanded answers as to why the power supply was abruptly restored across six feeders while repair work was still underway.
