Magnitude 3.8 quake shakes Turbat, surrounding areas

QUETTA: An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck Turbat and surrounding areas in Balochistan on Sunday, according to Dunya News.

The tremors prompted residents to rush out of their homes in panic, reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Fortunately, no casualties or property damage were reported.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad confirmed that the quake’s epicenter was located 40 kilometers northwest of Turbat at a depth of 34 kilometers.
