BAJAUR: A man was killed and another injured when unknown assailants attacked them in the Manta area of tehsil Mamond of district Bajaur on Wednesday evening.
According to the district police officer, Bajaur, Waqas Rafique, a man was killed and his accomplice was critically injured, in a firing incident that took place in the Amanta area of Mamond tehsil of district Bajaur on Wednesday evening.
DPO said the dead body and injured persons had been shifted to a hospital in tehsil Mamond, while police had started the search for the culprits.
He said they had lodged an FIR against the unknown assailants and were gathering more information about the incident to ascertain the motive behind it.
