SWAT: A man stabbed his friend to death after a brief altercation between them before the conflict was escalated and led to death. The critically injured youth later died in the hospital.
According to the details, during a brief altercation in the Takhtaband area of Mingora, the main city of Swat, accused Rahimzada, a resident of Ground Mohalla, Balogram, stabbed Muhammad Abbas, a resident of Gabral Utror, presently living in Takhtaband. The injured person was shifted to the hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
SHO Rahimabad Police Station Fazal Rahim Khan, along with a team, arrested the accused Rahimzada within a few hours.
According to the police, the incident was the result of an altercation over a pet dog.
One friend had gifted the dog to another friend and then was demanding it back, which led to a fight and the incident escalated to murder. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
