According to Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Rizwanullah Yousafzai, the animal’s horns and skin are non-exportable, meaning they must remain within the country. The hunter, Alexei Kamp, paid a hefty sum of $71,000 (approximately Rs. 20 million) for the permit to hunt the Markhor, contributing to Pakistan’s conservation and community development programs.
