BANNU: The funeral prayer of Police constable Arman Khan, martyred in a terrorist attack, was offered at Police Lines Bannu with official honours.
A well-dressed police contingent paid tribute, laid a wreath on his coffin, and prayed for his high rank in Jannah.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bannu Imran Shahid, District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner, SP City, SP FRP, other officers, soldiers, and the martyr’s family attended the funeral.
RPO Imran Shahid consoled the family and vowed justice. He assured that Arman Khan’s sacrifice would not go in vain and the attackers would be caught soon.
Arman Khan was on his way to duty when armed assailants on motorcycles opened firing on him near Gul Zaman Mosque, Shindi Adda, Miranshah Road.
Arman Khan was posted at the Judicial Complex.
Police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
