Matric exams postponed in North Waziristan amid ‘security concerns’

BANNU: The Bannu Board has postponed the matriculation examinations in North Waziristan due to security risks. The exams, originally set to begin on April 8, will now be held at a later date to ensure the safety of students and staff.

A board notification stated that the decision was made because of the current law and order situation in the region. New exam dates will be announced after discussions with security and administrative officials.

Meanwhile, matric exams in other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will start as scheduled on April 8. A high-level meeting, led by Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai, reviewed preparations for the exams.
