BANNU: Commander of the 116 Brigade, Brigadier Naveed Ahmed, along with Commissioner Bannu Division Muhammad Ali Shah, visited the historic Jamia Mosque and Religious Madrasa Jafar Khan.
Upon arrival, the officials were warmly welcomed by prominent religious scholars, including Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Hafiz Abdul Momin, Mufti Abdullah, and other madrasa administrators.
During the visit, Brigadier Naveed Ahmed inspected various sections of the madrasa and reviewed its facilities. Addressing the gathering, he praised religious madrasas as “the fortresses of Islam” and credited them for playing a vital role in building a strong and prosperous Pakistan.
As a gesture of support, the brigade commander personally provided financial assistance for the madrasa’s arrangements, as well as for the students’ accommodation and food. He also met with scholars and students, offering his best wishes and promising continued cooperation in the future.
