The District Police Officer (DPO), North Waziristan, Waqar Ahmad Khan has denied the rumours about the mass resignation of police in Miranshah, termed it baseless.
The DPO of North Waziristan issued a statement on his Facebook page, asserting that the claim circulating on social media stating that “22 Miranshah police personnel have resigned in protest against the oppression of Pashtuns” is completely baseless, misleading, and false. This information is not connected to reality.
The Miranshah Police strongly denies this fabricated propaganda and describes it as a negative campaign aimed at creating distrust among the public and tarnishing the reputation of the institutions.
The police force is an organised, impartial, and constitutional body, always committed to protecting the lives and property of all citizens, regardless of their colour, race, or nationality.
The public is urged not to engage with such false news and to rely solely on official police sources for verified information.
