Muqam terms Mines and Mineral bill milestone for Pakistan’s development

India fails to crush spirit of IIOJK residents fighting for self-determination: Amir Muqam

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Engineer Amir Muqam called the Mines and Minerals Bill a milestone in Pakistan’s development and assured that it has stood by the people in the past as well, and this journey of public service will continue in the future as well.

While addressing a youth convention in Peshawar on Monday, Amir Muqam emphasised that involving the youth in the country’s development and empowerment is the most pressing need at this time. He noted that the enthusiasm of the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is unmatched in any other region of the country.

Mr. Muqam stated that under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, the country’s economy is stabilising, and due to his tireless efforts, Pakistan has been saved from default. He pointed out that the reduction in interest rates and a significant drop in inflation are also results of Shehbaz Sharif’s economic policies, which have lowered the inflation rate from 38 per cent to 12 per cent.

He stressed that remaining silent or suppressed for years has not benefited either the country or the province; now is the time for the youth to step forward and engage in development. He highlighted that whenever Quaid Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have called upon the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they have always responded positively. Additionally, he mentioned that the Prime Minister has assigned the responsibility of skill development for the youth to Rana Mashhood, and a Youth Program office has been inaugurated. Through this program, the talents of the youth will be promoted at the Union Council level.
