ISLAMABAD: Former Minister for Information and renowned journalist Murtaza Solangi has been appointed as Spokesperson of President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari here on Wednesday.
The development shared by Murtaza Solangi on his social account of Facebook, stating that “I have been appointed the Spokesperson of the President of Pakistan. I will assume my new responsibilities starting tomorrow,”.
Murtaza Solangi is a Pakistani journalist has also as a Director General of Radio Pakistan. He was the caretaker Minister of Information and Broadcasting from August 2023 to March 2024.
Previously, he worked as a broadcaster at VOA’s Urdu broadcasting service. In August 2023 he was appointed caretaker Minister of Information and Broadcasting.
