ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nabil Gabol has formally invited renowned lawyer and former PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat to join the PPP.
While talking to media persons in the National Assembly on Wednesday, Nabil Gabol formally invited Shar Afzal to join PPP, telling him that the founder of PTI likes you, but these black-coat people (Lawyers) do not like you. You should join PPP where you would be treated dignified way.
He added that Salman Akram Raja does not understand politics, while they did not value you and constantly removed you from the party by disrespecting you in public.
Sher Afzal Marwat welcomed Nabil Gabol’s offer and said that the PPP and the PML-N always respect their leaders, while those who made sacrifices for the party were disrespected in the PTI.
He added that he has been a fan of the PPP, but his problem is that he is not a traditional politician. “I am grateful to Nabil Gabol for inviting me, but I will continue my struggle for true freedom and the fundamental rights of Pakistanis,” Mr Marwat said.
A final decision has not been made by Sher Afzal Marwat, however, his statements indicate that he is seriously considering his political path.
