Nadir Magsi takes first place in thrilling Derajaat Jeep challenge

 

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Nadir Magsi, a prominent rally driver, emerged victorious in the Off-road Challenge jeep rally held in Derajaat. The electrifying conclusion of the Derajaat Off-Road Challenge showcased thrilling performances in the Prepared Category, as Pakistan’s elite racers competed on a challenging 69-kilometre course.

The event included four sub-categories, with Magsi taking first place in Category A, finishing the track in an impressive 44 minutes and 18 seconds. In Category B, Gohar finished at the top with a time of 49 minutes and 1 second, while Bewar Mazari claimed victory in Category C, completing his run in 50 minutes and 59 seconds. Shakeel topped Category D with a time of 49 minutes and 59 seconds.

A total of 22 distinguished racers from around the country displayed their skills, attracting an enthusiastic crowd of spectators eager to witness the adrenaline-fueled finale.

The prize distribution ceremony is set to take place today evening at the Ratta Kulachi Sports Complex, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur serving as the chief guest.

Strict security protocols were enforced throughout the event’s final day, with monitoring and checkpoints installed at various locations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants and attendees.

Dera Ismail Khan Tehsil Mayor Umar Amin Gandapur highlighted the broader significance of the event, stating, “The Derajaat Off-Road Challenge represents more than just motorsport; it celebrates the spirit of youth, cultural pride, and the untapped tourism potential within our region.”
