PESHAWAR: Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs and President of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, has said that if India imposes war, the entire nation will stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Speaking in Shangla at events organised by the District Bar Association, Muslim League Lawyers Forum, and other organisations, the federal minister said the people of Shangla have made sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and have written history. “Whenever the integrity of the nation is challenged, all of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the people of Shangla will be ready to respond.”
Amir Muqam strongly condemned India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan, saying that India has started blaming Pakistan without any evidence, which is deeply regrettable.
He emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to peace but warned that if India starts a war, the entire nation will stand united with its army to defeat the enemy.
Recalling his recent three to four days spent along the Line of Control (LoC) during the current tensions, he praised the spirit and patriotism of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, saying, “Their passion and love for Pakistan and its armed forces is unbeatable.”
“I salute their spirit and unwavering love for Pakistan,” he added.
Highlighting the difference between the two countries, Muqam said, “Our people love their army, and if war breaks out, every citizen will stand beside the Pakistan Army.”
He concluded by saying, “The entire nation is united. Just as our ancestors contributed to the freedom of Kashmir, it is an honour for us to become martyrs or victors in the defence of our country.”
