FAISALABAB:The National T20 Cup has reached its climax as Lahore Blues, Multan, Peshawar, and Abbottabad secured their spots in the semi-finals after a series of gripping quarterfinal matches.
In the first quarterfinal, Abbottabad triumphed over Lahore Whites by six wickets. After winning the toss and electing to field, Abbottabad restricted Lahore Whites to 130-5 in 20 overs before chasing down the target in the 18th over with four wickets in hand.
Multan edged past Karachi Whites in a tense second quarterfinal. Batting first, Multan posted 155-9, with Karachi Whites falling just short at 148-8 in their reply.

Peshawar advanced after a hard-fought three-wicket victory against Faisalabad at Iqbal Stadium, while Lahore Blues overpowered Sialkot by 33 runs in the fourth quarterfinal.
The semi-finals will take place today, with Peshawar taking on Abbottabad in the first clash, followed by Lahore Blues facing Multan in the second.
Meanwhile, Pakistan star opener Fakhar Zaman is expected to resume regular batting practice after Eid as he prepares for upcoming international commitments.
