KP CM Gandapur to file petition against oath-taking on reserved seats

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has made great sacrifices in the war against terrorism, which can never be ignored, and those nations who forgets its martyrs are always weak in their defence.

Chief Minister said this while addressing the Police Darbar, where he appreciated the role and services of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. He said that the provincial government is determined to provide all the resources required by the police.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that the police budget has been significantly increased, which has reached Rs 187 billion. According to him, the salaries of police personnel have also been increased so that their services can be better rewarded.

He further said that some of the weapons that were required have been provided, and the rest will come soon. The Chief Minister made it clear that there is no shortage of resources; whatever the police need will be fulfilled.

During his address, the Chief Minister said that he has not recommended anyone as the Chief Minister till date, nor will he do so in the future. He directed the traffic police not to fine poor people for minor mistakes, while, if necessary, heavy fines should be imposed on big vehicles or prominent people.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that the war against terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not over yet, and the government is determined to take this war to its logical conclusion. He paid tribute to the martyrs and said that we are indebted to them and will never forget them.
