PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial president and Chairman of the Public Accountability Committee Junaid Akbar Khan stated that the party has no hope from the courts. He said protests are the only option left, and preparations are complete.
Speaking to a private TV channel, he said that PTI is mulling various options including setting up a protest camp outside Adiala Jail, blocking key highways from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, or marching towards Islamabad for a peaceful demonstration.
He admitted past mistakes in the October and November protests. He assured that the new strategy would be stronger and more effective. He emphasised that patience benefits the party, as public sympathy and support grow.
Junaid Akbar Khan expressed hope that Maulana Fazlur Rehman might join their protest. He said if JUI-F refuses, PTI will proceed without him. He believes Ali Amin Gandapur and others will support the movement.

He acknowledged growing frustration among PTI workers. He warned that if workers act independently, the state won’t have time to react. He claimed that Parliament survives only with establishment support. He predicted its downfall if that support was withdrawn.
