PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has dismissed rumors of instability in his government, stating that no assembly member is leaving his side. Speaking to journalists, he criticized the governor for making statements but insisted they hold no real threat.
Gandapur addressed the recent budget passage, saying only two members opposed it, hinting they were influenced by external forces. He also announced plans to challenge the reserved seats issue in court, reaffirming his allegiance to PTI.
Regarding Senate elections, he said decisions would be made in the party’s best interest. On governance, he claimed his administration spends less than Punjab and Sindh while controlling corruption.
He emphasized accountability for his 15-month performance, not the past 12 years. Additionally, he announced plans to provide cheap electricity to revive KP’s closed industries.
