The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has approved changes in gas prices for the country’s two major gas utilities. The new rates will take effect after final approval from the federal government.
Under the revised tariffs: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) will see a decrease of Rs 103.95 per MMBTU
-Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL)will face an increase of Rs 116.90 per MMBTU
OGRA said the hike for SNGPL is due to higher costs of imported LNG, while the adjustment aims to cover both companies’ financial gaps for 2024
