“Only Pakistaniness Matters”: Army Chief

Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that as long as the nation and especially the youth stand together, the Pakistan Army will never lose. Pakistaniness is most important for us. We are fighting terrorists and rioters. These elements are misinterpreting Islam.

According to the official media, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, while addressing students from universities across the country, said that talking to the youth is always a great pleasure for me and by talking to the youth, the fact is renewed that our future is in safe hands.

General Syed Asim Munir said that as long as the nation and especially the youth stand together and as long as we have the spirit of sacrifice, the Pakistan Army will never lose.

He said that we fight like comrades. The fun of the army is that we do not know who is Sindhi, who is Punjabi, who is Baloch and who is Pathan. We just fight like comrades. Only Pakistaniness is important for us and we love it.

The Army Chief further said that we are fighting terrorists today, you think that they are waging jihad, but they are foreigners and have left the religion, because they have made their own interpretation of Islam, which is not allowed in Islam.

Referring to the verses of the Quran, the Army Chief said that Allah’s orders regarding foreigners are that they wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and spread corruption on earth, their punishment is to eliminate them, hang them on gallows and cut off their hands and feet from opposite sides or expel them from their land, this punishment is in this world and in the Hereafter they will be given a greater punishment.
