Over 2000 youth have completed a course in information technology (IT) training in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) under the Youth Employment Program initiative of the KP government.
A statement issued by the KP chief minister’s office said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has achieved another significant milestone in making youth employable through modern IT skills.
It said a ceremony to award certificates to graduates was held at the Chief Minister’s House here on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
Provincial cabinet members, the Chief Secretary, officials of the Information Technology Department and students participated.
According to the statement under the Youth Employment Program, youth have completed international standard training in Artificial Intelligence, Game Development, Cloud Computing, Animation and Web Development.
It read that 180 youth have also completed internships under the provincial government’s Digital Internship Program.
Earlier, more than 2,000 youth have been onboarded in renowned IT companies under the Digital Internship Program.
So far, 67 per cent of these youth have got jobs in various companies.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur addressed the ceremony and said that providing employment opportunities for the youth is an important responsibility of the government.

The government could not provide job opportunities at the government sector but it can create opportunities for them in the private sector.
The Chief Minister distributed certificates among these graduates.
Nowadays, it is the era of information technology, and there are innumerable employment opportunities in this sector.
