PESHAWAR: Over 51,000 tourists visited the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) tourist destinations in the first two days of Eid-ul-fitr to enjoy their vacations.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is famous for its natural beauty, lush green landscapes, thick forests, singing waterfalls, rivers and cold weather. Including foreigners, Pakistani nature lovers flock to the KP’s tourist attractions in both summer and winter seasons to enjoy nature.
According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa culture and tourism department spokesperson, Mohammad Saad, Tourists flocked to various tourist destinations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Eid-ul-Fitr.
He said more than 51,000 tourists arrived in the tourist places of the province in the first two days of the Eid festival.
Mr Saad emphasised that the highest number of tourists came to Naran Valley with 28,112 and Galiyat with 17,000, while Kumrat Valley recorded entry of 3,100 tourists.
He said Tourism Police Personnel are on duty at various tourist destinations, and the Tourism helpline 1422 is operational 24 hours a day.
