Bannu: The Pakistan Army has opened Jinnah Park in Bannu Cantt to the public, providing residents with enhanced recreational and entertainment facilities.
A large number of citizens, including families and children, attended the inauguration ceremony. Key attendees included Brigadier Naveed Ahmed (Commander 116 Brigade), Commissioner Muhammad Ali Shah, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Fahim, and other civil and military officials.
Brigadier Naveed stated that the park’s development, supervised by the civil administration, aims to offer quality leisure spaces for Bannu’s residents. He emphasized that the facility will not only serve as a recreational spot but also contribute to the mental and social development of youth.
Locals expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Army and requested additional amenities to further improve the park’s appeal. The initiative has been widely welcomed as a positive step for the community.
