WANA:  Following a report by Pakhtun Digital highlighting poor healthcare services in  Shaki valley, the District Health Office has taken action by appointing two new MBBS doctors to the area’s Basic Health Unit (BHU).

District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Adnan Dawar confirmed the appointments, stating that Dr. Owais Wazir will join the already-serving Dr. Nadir at the Shaki BHU.

The move aims to provide better medical care to locals without forcing them to travel long distances for treatment.

Dr. Dawar urged residents to cooperate with health officials to ensure the success of these new measures.
