Pakistan Army ready to thwart any misadventure: Mohsin Naqvi

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday said that Pakistan army is fully equipped to thwart any misadventure of the enemy.

 

He held an important meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and discussed a various issues related to regional tensions in wake of Pahalagam attack. During the meeting held in Islamabad, both the leaders exchanged views in detail on Pakistan-India tensions and Palestine issue.

On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi apprised Maulana Fazl of India’s one-sided and illogical stance and took him into confidence on Pakistan’s firm and principled stand. Mohsin Naqvi also informed Maulana Fazlur Rehman about various decisions taken by National Security Committee (NSC) in its recently-held meeting.

The minister said that Narendra Modi is notorious for his anti-Muslim and anti-Islam policies, and he prefers to stand with all those who are against Islam and Muslims. He said that by blaming Pakistan for these false flag operations, the Modi administration was playing with fire. Mohsin Naqvi said that in case of any aggression and misadventure by India, Pakistan will retaliate with full force.
