Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar, while addressing the Security Council meeting, has called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Asim Iftikhar said that Gaza has been destroyed due to Israeli attacks, and the immediate withdrawal of Israeli troops from there is necessary. He stressed that the restoration of aid supplies is also essential so that relief can be provided to prisoners and civilians.
Asim Iftikhar accused Israel of using hunger as a weapon in Gaza, due to which the deaths of innocent civilians, including children, are increasing. This statement by Pakistan highlights the global concern and the need for urgent action on the current humanitarian situation in Gaza.
