Pakistan envoy Dr. Faisal exposes India’s violations before UK MPs

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, met with the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) in the House of Commons and briefed them on escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.

Dr. Faisal condemned India’s recent military actions as a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and international law, including the UN Charter. He also criticized New Delhi’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, warning that Pakistan’s National Security Committee views water blockage as an “act of war.”

The High Commissioner expressed concerns over India’s “aggressive and extremist policies,” calling them a threat to regional stability. He thanked the UK and other nations for their role in de-escalating tensions and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the ceasefire.

Dr. Faisal stressed that the core issue remains Kashmir, urging its resolution in line with UN resolutions for lasting peace.
