Pakistan imposes port ban on Indian flag carriers in retaliation

Pakistan Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Junaid Anwar, has imposed a ban on Indian flag carriers in tit for tat move.

The decision was taken after India continued to make allegations against Pakistan and imposed bans, while banning social media accounts of Pakistani citizens, celebrities, and politicians.

The Maritime Affairs Ministry on Sunday issued a notification in this regard, immediately banning Indian flag carriers in retaliation for India’s recent moves against Pakistan.

On the orders of Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar, Pakistani ports have been closed to Indian ships.
In view of the current situation, Indian flag carriers have been banned from entering Pakistani ports, and Pakistani ships will also not visit Indian ports.
