ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has launched its own ChatGPT model, Zehant AI.
Officials unveiled the “Made in Pakistan” AI model at a ceremony in Islamabad. IT experts and professionals from various fields attended the event.
Mahwish Suleman Ali, the project’s founder, led its development. She said Zehant AI went through multiple phases before its launch.
She credited data center efforts for making the project a reality. “This achievement belongs to the entire nation,” she said.
“We worked hard to compete globally, and now Pakistan has its own AI-powered chatbot,” she added.
Zehant AI supports multiple languages. Users can access it through Pakistani data servers for a secure and localized experience.

IT professionals and industry experts praised the launch. They called it a major breakthrough for Pakistan in artificial intelligence.
