KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) on Saturday concluded joint special operation forces maritime exercise ‘Affaa Al Sahelin Karachi on Wednesday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Commander Coast Rear Admiral Faisal Amin witnessed the final test exercise along with senior officials of both navies.
Teams of Special Operations Forces of Royal Saudi Navy and Pakistan Navy participated in joint training operations during exercise, it added.
The training exercises included RPG firing, machine gun firing, close quarters combat, practical repelling, hostage rescue, VBSS, EOD drill, mission planning and advanced methods of area clearance
The objective of this joint exercise was to enhance coordination and tactical skills between the two navies
The exercise which brought together navies of two brotherly will help in enhancing mutual capabilities and coordination to address maritime security challenges.
Affaa Al Sahel is a biennial exercise designed to enhance professional skills, operational preparedness and promote regional maritime cooperation between the two countries.
