Pakistan gave Bangladesh a 179-run Chase in the Third T20
Pakistan set Bangladesh a target of 179 runs to win in the final match of the three-match T20 series at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 178 runs for the loss of wickets in their allotted 20 overs, putting themselves at risk of a whitewash in the T20 series for the first time.
The innings began positively with Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub forming a solid partnership of 82 runs in just 7.5 overs. Saim Ayub was dismissed after scoring 21 runs, while Sahibzada Farhan delivered a strong performance with 63 runs off 41 balls before being outed by Nasum Ahmed.
Mohammad Haris and Hussain Talat had disappointing outings, scoring only 5 and 1 runs, respectively. Hassan Nawaz contributed significantly with 33 runs off 17 balls, and Muhammad Nawaz added a valuable 27 runs off 16 balls towards the end of the innings. Faheem Ashraf, who had scored a half-century in the previous match, managed only 4 runs this time.
