Pakistan has shot down 25 Israeli-made drones sent by India to different parts of Punjab and Sindh provinces as they attempted to infiltrate the Pakistani airspace since May 7-8 night.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that India committed “yet another blatant act of military aggression against Pakistan” last night by deploying Herap drones across multiple locations.
He further reported that the Pakistan Armed Forces, maintaining a “high state of alert and vigilance,” have successfully neutralised 12 Herap drones at various sites.
India targeted civilians, children, but we responded by hitting military targets: Atta Tarar
While addressing the floor of the National Assembly session, federal minister for information, Attaullah Tarar, said that the treacherous enemy targeted civilians, including children, women and the elderly, martyred.
He said the cowardly enemy attacked in the dark of night and fled like thieves, but they did not know the capability of Pakistani forces, who shot down their expensive Rafale jet and four other fighter jets.
The information minister said that Pakistan would respond to the attack, but by choosing a time, place, and manner, as the National Security Committee had authorised armed forces, it would be able to get a befitting reply.
“We will display Israeli-made ‘Harop’ drones’ wreckage in our museum to show them to future generations”, the Information Minister said.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan security forces have shot down 25 Israeli-made “Harop” drones in different cities of Pakistan that illegally entered Pakistani territory as India continued aggression against Pakistan.
DG ISPR Sharif Chaudhry earlier said that Pakistan shot down 12 drones. However, an escalation has been seen on Thursday morning from India following Pakistan’s prompt defensive action against India who attacked on civilians and populated areas.

India’s actions show it has lost the Plot: Sharif Chaudhry
Recalling the downing of five Indian aircraft and significant casualties along the Line of Control, Director General ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said India has “apparently lost the plot.”
“Instead of pursuing a rational course, India continues to escalate tensions in an already volatile environment—driven by the hubris of its leadership,” he stated.
He warned that India’s “extremely provocative military aggression” in a highly fragile region threatens not only regional but also broader international security. “The international community can see the dangerous path India is taking,” he added.
Gen Chaudhry reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully alert to any threat. “We remain vigilant, and I will continue to update you as the situation develops,” he said.
Concluding his statement, he reiterated in Urdu the details of the Indian drones that were shot down, emphasising that debris recovery was underway at the identified locations.
