ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a telephonic conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity with Iran, the prime minister denounced the strikes as a serious violation of regional sovereignty and international law.
“These attacks not only target a sovereign nation but also represent a clear breach of the UN Charter and established international legal principles,” he said during the call.
Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed that Iran holds the inherent right to self-defence under the UN Charter and assured Pakistan’s steadfast support in the face of such unjustified aggression.
