Pakistan to contact world Bank on the suspension of Indust Water Treaty, Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said Pakistan will contact World Bank on the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, saying that Modi himself got caught in the trap he had set, if India is truthful then let the international community investigate the Pahalgam incident.

In an interview with a private TV station, he said that the Prime Minister has offered India to conduct a transparent investigation into the Pahalgam incident. This drama will be exposed in the coming days.

Khwaja Asif said that India is involved in terrorism on a global level, as a Sikh leader was killed in Canada, while an attempt was made to target a Sikh leader in the US as well.

The Defence Minister said that India is involved in terrorism in Pakistan, of which we have evidence. India is supporting the BLA and TTP. He said that if India commits any aggression, a befitting reply will be given. Even after the Pulwama incident, India had made allegations against Pakistan, but no evidence has been given yet.

In response to a question, he said that if we had not been involved in the Soviet-American and 9/11 wars, Pakistan would not have been a victim of terrorism today. Khwaja Asif further said that India cannot release water into the river without prior notice, prior notice is given so that the population could be alerted, but unfortunately water is being used as a weapon by India.
