Pakistan to destroy any structure, if India tries to divert water: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that Pakistan will destroy any Indian infrastructure that diverts the flow of water to the country.

Speaking on a private TV program, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that the Pakistani nation is fully prepared for war and there is no fear among them. He said that India repeatedly tried to intervene but Pakistan jammed four Rafale Jets near the Pak-India border. We have thwarted every move of India. He said that a conflict with India can happen at any time. It has been told in today’s briefing that aggression from India is expected. We are not sitting frivolously. Indian Rafale had come very close to the border, but its system jammed.“If India builds constructions to stop water, we will destroy them. If Indian rulers try to stop Pakistan’s water, they will drown in it” Asif remarked.  He said that the Indian rulers are dreaming; their dreams will remain dreams. “The strategy of occupying a piece of our land will cost India dearly. We are keeping a close eye on all of India’s preparations, and we are constantly monitoring”. He said that if India tries to enter Pakistan, we will bring it home.  It should be noted that relations between the two countries have become tense after India blamed Pakistan for the Pahalgam incident. India has threatened Pakistan with serious consequences, while Pakistan has also made it clear that any adventure will be met with a befitting reply.
