The Pakistani rupee strengthened slightly against the US dollar during interbank trading on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive day of gains. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the dollar closed at Rs 281.02, down by 5 paisa from Monday’s closing rate of Rs 281.07.
This marginal decline reflects continued stability in the currency market after the rupee had previously faced volatility. Analysts attribute the gradual appreciation to improved forex reserves and easing import pressures, though broader economic challenges persist.
