Pakistan’s players make significant progress in latest T20 rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan’s bowlers have been promoted in the latest ICC T20 rankings after their outstanding performances in the recent tri-series T20 tournament held in United Arab Emirates.

According to details, Spinner Sufiyan Muqeem climbed seven spots to reach the 15th position, while Shaheen Afridi improved by four places to secure the 20th spot.

Similarly, Abrar Ahmed made a remarkable leap of 49 positions to land at 27th, and Mohammad Nawaz rose 13 spots to 30th in the bowling rankings.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam dropped three places to 24th, and Mohammad Rizwan fell six places to 28th in T20 batting ranking. Middle batter Hasan Nawaz slipped four spots to 35th, and Saim Ayub dropped one place to 42nd in batting rankings.

Captain Salman Agha moved up two places to 77th, while Fakhar Zaman climbed nine spots to 68th in the batting rankings.
