The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) announced on Thursday that the country’s foreign exchange reserves increased by 49 million during the business weekend of March 14,11.15 billion.
The latest data released by the central bank showed that the nation’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at 16.02 billion,4.87 billion in net reserves.
The SBP did not provide a specific reason for the weekly increase in reserves.

This comes after a $152 million decline in the central bank’s reserves the previous week.
The State Bank’s reserves now stand at $11,146.8 million, reflecting a slight recovery amid ongoing economic challenges.
Pakistan has been working to stabilize its economy and boost foreign reserves in recent months.
